NANGA PARBAT

 THE KILLER MOUNTAIN

Distance: 520 Km from Islamabad

Dardastan or Diamir is called the land of fairies

The local population believes that the peak of Nanga Parbat is the abode of the fairy queen. Legend has it that she lives in an ice castle made of transparent and mottled ice. And huge snow frogs and snow snakes that are several kilometers long are assigned to protect this queen.

The women living in these areas avoid colorful clothes and bright colors because wearing them can make the fairies jealous and can do magic.

Says the famous mountaineer Meissner.

The northern regions of Pakistan are my favorite. If I had the authority, I would have declared all these areas as protected areas and would not have allowed modern lifestyles to be embedded in them.

Just because years from now, when the world will be engulfed in the smoke of factories and humans will have become completely machines, then if a child asks his father, When Allah created this world, how was it? Then his father will held his son's finger and took him to these wonderful regions of Pakistan and said, "When Allah created this world, it was like this."
